2021 The pandemic issue continued to dominate us in 2021.
Existing infrastructures suffered from major restrictions. In the wake of the lockdown, production and logistic capacities were quickly downsized worldwide, but at the same time demand for products has risen rapidly. In addition, there were significant shortages in the supply chains of the raw material sector, which affected not only the automotive and electrical industries worldwide, but also the product range and delivery times of our own products. PEAK was able to counteract this in 2021 by adapting products and creating new logistic channels. The employees work alternately from the home office.
2022 What can we expect for the coming year?
The current economic situation with disrupted supply chains, bottlenecks in the supply of raw materials, rising energy costs and the resulting, constantly changing price development are not good prerequisites for looking optimistically into the new year.
The PEAK team expects no quick return to a “normalised” market situation due to the pandemic related global shortage of raw materials in the first half of the year. We continue to see supply restrictions and significant price increases in 2022. PEAK will take all necessary and possible measures to improve the supply situation. We will do our best! However, the most important thing for you and for us is always health, which will continue to be the focus of people’s interest in 2022. We are confident that 2022 will be the year of positive change. In this spirit, “Stay healthy!”
