About us

Founded in 1998, based in Nackenheim nearby Mainz, Germany, PEAK electronics is a leading supplier of DC/DC Converters and AC/DC Converters, with over 25 years of experience. The product range is supplemented by Switching Regulators, LED Drivers, Extensions and Accessories like DIN RAIL, Chassis, Heat Sink, as well as Tape & Reel Packaging for our SMD Converters.

Beside that, we offer individual customer-specific solutions.

PEAK electronics GmbH is certified according the international standards ISO 9001:2015 for the development, production and sale of DC/DC and AC/DC converters.

History

PEAK electronics was founded in 1998 and after two years changed its name to PEAK electronics GmbH. The first products offered were 0.25W – 2W DC/DC converters in SIP and DIP packages.

In 2002, the development, production and sale of DC/DC converters was certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and recognition as a Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Industrie- und Handelskammer, IHK) training company was granted.

With the move to the functional company building in 2003, the basis for the further development of the company was created. Business was continuously expanded in the direction of Russia, the USA and Europe.

In the following years the product portfolio was extended by AC/DC modules and LED drivers, and the sales network was expanded worldwide.

After the unexpected death of Mr. Karlheinz Stadtmüller, the company’s founder and CEO, Melanie Rech-Stadtmüller took over the management of the company at the beginning of 2015. Numerous new product families have been introduced and the company was certified to ISO 9001:2015 standard.

In addition, PEAK also offers Underwriters Laboratories (UL) approved converters. The UL certification is constantly updated.
